Ships All the ships & vehicles in TOMY Toys Miles From Tomorrowland line are extremely versatile and several interconnect adding even more features for extended play. Most feature lights and sounds as well. Stellosphere This is a very large 3-in-1 ship. The zip ship docks on top. Underneath, the ship opens into the Callisto's command center, which also stores a mini StarJetter. When the Mini StarJetter is outside of the Stellosphere, the charging chamber is available with glowing lights. The Cross Vehicle Rocket System (XVR) system connected at the base can be removed and attached to other ships to boost their sounds & lights. The playset also comes with a Miles figure in his blue & white TTA uniform, but with no helmet. Pros: lots of options for playing, especially for multiple children at once. The sounds and lights are unique, my kids especially liked the blasting off sound effect. The size of the ship instantly attracts kids to it. Cons: The front blue shields were initially hard for the kids to open, but they did loosen up after a week of play (before our party). The bottom gate (where the Mini StarJetter enters & exits) is difficult to close and because of that it tends to come off, but is easily reattached. Wish it had a handle like the StarJetter. StarJetter This ship features three exploration modes (flying, driving & walking) and a convenient handle for kids to hold when flying. Wheels pop out for driving on surfaces. Legs extend down for walking on surfaces. And it has various sounds and lights. The StarJetter also attaches to the XVR from the Stellosphere, which amps the StarJetter's sounds and lights. It includes a surface rover that is stored underneath the front shield and shoots out when a button is pushed. Also included is a Miles figure in a white TTA uniform with orange arms white gloves, blue & black boots & attached helmet. Pros: kids love the wheels and extendable legs. The handle made it the preferred flying ship. Cons: wish Miles came with a detachable helmet. My kids liked launching out the surface rover, other than that they didn't really know what to do with it. Which there was more to the rover or additional accessories for it. SuperStellar Blast Board Features three game modes: 1) Kids listen for and follow Miles' directions while "Blastboard Surfing" 2) Kids lean towards the flashing lights as fast as possible during the "Light Speed" game 3) "Let's Race!" allows kids to move in any direction they choose with the music. Pros: Extremely well made and durable. Has on/off switch so it doesn't randomly go off at night. Kids love playing on it whether or not they are playing the games. The "Light Speed" game was the most popular at our party. Cons: confusing to choose which game to play and wish it had a full volume control option. Figures All of the figures we received are posable with articulated heads, arms, and legs, which expands the possibilities of open-ended play. The figures are painted with bright accents which glow in the Stellosphere's charging chamber. Miles, Loretta & Pipp (the figures we received) have their hands shaped to hold onto the handles on the Blastboards, Miles' hoverbike, and more. They all have holes in the base of their feet to attach to Blastboards and other accessories. The figures all came with an accessory specific to their character, making them a great deal for the suggested retail price. Galactic Miles Features blue & white TTA uniform with blue arms, blue & orange boots. As well as an attached helmet and (molded) black backpack that stores his (attached) lazerang. Comes with detachable blue Blastboard that attaches to his feet. His hands can also hold the Blastboard's handles. SuperStellar Miles Features half-zipped white & blue jacket, (attached) lazerang on back, dark pants & boots, and an attached open-faced helmet. Comes with a hoverbike. Pros: Kids liked this "casual cool" look for Miles and the hoverbike was a big hit. Con: Figures are difficult to get onto the hoverbike, but once attached are very secure. Loretta Callisto Very colorful and detailed, even on her bracelex. Her purple Blastboard is very sturdy and attaches securely to her hands or feet (both feet have holes for attachment). Con: the mold of her skirt doesn't allow her to fit into a sitting position on Miles Hoverbike (for extended-play options). Cosmic Merc Comes with detachable wings and additional shield wings. Miles figures can connect to ride on top. Con: the shield wings took practice for my kids to put on, but they did figure it out. Pipp Whipley Brightly colored figure with detachable jet pack. The kids loved flying Pipp all over with his jet pack and wings. Con: Pipp hasn't been in many episodes so some kids loved the "new" guy while other kids didn't think he belonged.
