With the amount of artificial ingredients and processed junk we put in our bodies everyday, I make it a point to perform regular detoxes/cleanses to remove toxins from my body several times a year. When I heard Dr. Oz recommend Coffee Bean Extract, it got added to my list of new detoxes to try. Then when I had the opportunity to try Pure Green Coffee Bean Extract Cleanse/Detox 60 from Justified Laboratories I was thrilled to accept the offer.
What exactly is green coffee? Green coffee extract has been found to significantly reduce fat absorption as well as fuel metabolic rates in the liver, both of which are very important in weight reduction. This is because green coffee contains a natural chemical that slows the release of sugars in the bloodstream, a process which also helps in weight loss. Green coffee also contains much more anti-oxidants than roasted coffee, which can also help in reducing the production of fat cells in the body. After recovering from a recent bout of the stomach flu (this living off canned soup, crackers, and gingerale for a week) I decided to detox all the rest gunk from my body--along with a clean, healthy diet. Twice a day I took one pill along with a full glass of water 30 minutes before a meal. I continued this for 7 days. I cut out my regular coffee intake during this week, so the caffeine in the detox was just the right amount for me. Throughout the week I noticed my blood sugar levels leveling out, blood pressure lowered, and my colon was definitely getting clean (TMI, sorry!), plus my skin started looking more radiant. I could easily tell cleanse successfully removed a lot of toxins from my body. Now that the detox is finished I feel great, all over! The capsules were easy to swallow and didn't have an unpleasant aftertaste. I will definitely do the detox again in a month or so based on the results I saw this last week. I did receive this product from #justifiedlabs in exchange for my unbiased and honest review. All opinions are my own and based solely on my personal experience with this product.

Erin Buchanan suggests using 3-ft standard dowel rod from the hardware store (I snagged mine from my son's closest!) She is upbeat and quirky, which I love! Working out with her makes me feel like I'm having fun doing the moves with a close friend, alternating between concentrating on her words and movement to giggling at some of her comments. She not only leads you through the moves but also tells you how to focus your mind to fully benefit from each move. This is a workout that I even got my husband to do alongside me, which never happens! Although, it could just because Erin has a rockin' body and he walked in the room during Erin's "shake it out" warm up. You'll know exactly what I mean if you buy the workout! This workout is great for any level of exerciser because the difficulty level is determined by how intensely you engage your core zones and the speed/range you perform the motions during the workout. I was specifically interested in trying ABX because it is easy on the knees and back. It's also an ideal workout for those suffering from arthritis (like me) because it is a safe exercise for joints and with continued use helps to improves function and increase flexibility. The production quality of the video is excellent. The exercises offer clear, helpful views of each move, the instructions are very easy to follow, and the audio is crisp--even when there is music in the background. Benefits of ABX: Physically: lose weight, tighten body, tone muscles, increase strength, stamina, flexibility, and energy control Mentally: be in the present moment, be OK with sensations, not judging pain or pleasure, releasing blocks in energy, and learning to practice positive affirmations for oneself and others Emotionally: You gain greater awareness of feelings, allowing more freedom and happiness, and in the process commanding others to honor your emotions Energetically: allows you to feel well, radiate abundance, attract good health, wealth, and positive people in your circle Financially: allows you to feel more in control of expenses, knowing you need nothing more than your health and what serves your true needs, while opening channels of creativity and abundance Spiritually: become more of who you deeply and authentically are, serving the universe and allowing your personality to shine Injury-Proofing: Developing the range and depth of functional skills encountered during crisis response, and slightly beyond the scope of those skills in order to create a ‘safety valve’ for when movements deviate from the expected. Prehabilitation: Priming connective tissue, joints and joint fluid for performance to prevent injuries and to refine the ability to absorb and retranslate force encountered during athletics or daily life. Active Recovery: Specific low-intensity mobility exercise to recuperate from intense effort to prevent overtraining, increase healthy circulation and diminish delayed muscle soreness typical of extreme exertion. General Physical Preparedness: Increasing the capacity to perform physically at high intensity for repeated burst of short duration, and increasing the speed of recovery between bouts of activity. Specific Physical Preparedness: Sophisticated work capacity in multiple planes, three-dimensionally through the six degrees of freedom – heaving, swaying, surging, pitching, yawing, rolling.
Example Moves (from airbarexercises.com)
Air Bar Chest Press In this position you are finding yourself in a perfect pausing place to engage your core muscles deeply & enjoy the sensations you feel. Heels rooted into the earth, knees soft and forgiving, tailbone lengthening towards the ground, lower abdominals pulled in and up, lungs full of oxygen, back and lateral muscles hugging the ribs that are knitted over the top of the abdominals, elbows as high as you can get them while keeping the shoulders pressing down towards the ground. Squeeze tight inside while looking cool outside. Head is typically facing forward unless you are freestylin’ in which case feel free to look into the camera and give it a sexy smile. ; )
Capoeira Diagonal Reverse Lunge
This move is performed by standing with both feet slightly more than hip distance apart. You step back and to the side only at a distance and depth that is comfortable for you, your knees and your current range of motion. Dip the back knee a couple inches off the floor and look back at it. Do you see a 90 degree angle or close to it? Do you feel your cheeky burning from the bone as you push energy through the heel? Are your abs tight? Lats engaged? As you come back up through center, take a deep breath and work the other side.
One Arm Chest Press
Here is a great example of being tight on the inside, light on the outside. The back muscles are touching, as she contracts them together as if to crack a big nut perfectly using just her shoulder blades. The core is fired up and all muscles are working synergistically together creating muscle mass, new brain connections and increased coordination. Notice the “glutes” are neither tucked in and under nor sticking way out.

I did received this blu-ray free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. All opinions are my own.
I have been trying Shape Organic’s Garcinia Cambogia capsules for about two weeks now and am enjoying the benefits they provide. The all-natural capsules are small and easy to swallow. The hardest part for me, is remembering to take them ½ an hour before each meal. However, after carefully following the directions for two weeks now, I have noticed less cravings, I am fuller faster (and longer), and have had more energy. I am using these capsules in addition to diet and exercise. Since I have an athletic build I haven’t noticed a change in my actual weight, but my pants are fitting better so I take that as a win! I’m excited to see long-term results as well. It should be noted that supplements like Garcinia Cambogia should be taken 6-8 weeks before expecting to see maximum benefits.
For those unfamiliar with this supplement, Garcinia cambogia is a citrus fruit that grows in Southeast Asia. The extract from the fruit rind is called hydroxycitric acid (HCA). That extract (HCA) has been used for weight loss and to lower cholesterol. Typical doses are between 250 and 1,000 mg each day. Advocates say that HCA works by making you feel full, reducing your appetite, and affecting metabolism. It may also help to improve high cholesterol. Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above in exchange for review from Giveaway Service website. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Reference ID: pm4acab8fc438e8b985183cb5607036387 |
